Designing the face of a new club experience in Arnhem
After years of designing for events, I decided to become my own client for once.
Together with my friends at motion design and animation studio Supermassive, we’ve been diving into DJing, producing, and organizing small events. This led to the creation of our own night, Device, which brings a fresh sound to our hometown of Arnhem.
Supermassive and I combined our strengths to create a dynamic style, bringing the visuals to life with animation.
Inspired by the Past.
For the visual identity of Device, we were inspired by old devices and their logos. The bitmap visuals are heavily inspired by the classic logo of a well-known phone brand, famous for its indestructible devices—a symbol of how a single device can change the world and connect people.
